Visualize color, sparkle, gloss online

The visualization of colored products on websites and in software has become increasingly important in recent years. Customers buy fashion online and expect the colors to be right. Designers increasingly use digital twins in the design process, expecting that visual aspects such as color, gloss and sparkle are accurately represented. There is an ongoing race to create increasingly faithful representation online. Although many parties claim photorealistic rendering already for years, the high percentage of goods still returned to suppliers because of incorrect color representation proves that there is still a large need for improvement!

Together with several academic groups I have worked on this topic for years, see for example [1][2]. And I am still working on it today, together with academia. If you would like to improve the accuracy of representing color, sparkle or gloss on websites or in software, then please contact ColorsAI.nl.
